Orbit is built to respect your privacy. We believe your health data is yours — and we handle it with care.
LOCAL STORAGE
By default, Orbit stores your stretching activity, preferences, and progress locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData and UserDefaults. This includes: • Your name (only what you enter during onboarding)
• Your stretching sessions, durations, and streaks
• Your saved stretches and custom routines
• Your journey and series progress
• Your settings preferences (haptics, sounds, notifications)
If you do not create an account, all data stays entirely on your device.
CLOUD SYNC (WHEN YOU SIGN IN)
If you choose to create an account, some data is synced to our secure servers powered by Supabase to enable cloud backup and cross-device access. This includes: • Your profile information (preferences, goals)
• Your stretch sessions and progress history
• Your journey and series progress
• Your saved stretches
Your data is stored securely, encrypted in transit, and protected by row-level security — meaning only you can access your own data. We never share, sell, or give your data to third parties.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
AUTHENTICATION
Orbit uses Supabase Authentication for optional account creation. We store your email address and an encrypted password hash. We never see or store your plaintext password. You can reset your password at any time from the sign-in screen.
PAYMENTS Premium subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Orbit does not collect, store, or have access to any payment information.
